Maverick Excelsior is self-serve by design, and most of what you need is a subscription away. Some work is not: a catalog five hundred pieces deep, a shop that deserves a native integration, a production problem nobody has written the tool for yet. For that, you can hire us directly.
What we actually know
RandomControl has been writing path tracers since before real-time meant anything on the web. Maverick Render is our desktop engine; Maverick Excelsior is that engine taken to jewelry and put in a browser tab. Nothing we sell as a service is subcontracted.
Spectral path tracing, measured materials and photography-calibrated lighting. When a render has to match a photograph of the real piece, this is the part that decides whether it does.
A full renderer compiled to WebAssembly, delivered over a CDN, running on a phone. Custom domains, embedded configurators, protected assets: the delivery problem, not just the rendering one.
Rhino and MatrixGold files, gem cuts, metal finishes, plating, engraving, stone setting. We speak the trade, so a brief does not have to be translated twice before work can start.
Bespoke services
Your existing catalog, turned into a finished, publishable one. Hand us the .3dm and .glb files and take back images, turntables and interactive 3D with one consistent look across every piece, however many pieces there are.
Viewers, spinners and material configurators embedded natively in your site, on your domain, under your branding. Built on the Viewer SDK by the people who wrote it, so the integration fits your shop rather than the other way around.
Campaign images and videos rendered on your behalf, at whatever scale the season demands. The same look as everything else on this site, delivered as files, without anyone on your side opening an editor.
A workflow the editor should learn, a feature your team is missing, a white-label deployment, a pipeline that talks to your ERP. We build the engine, so we can bend it, and what we build for you flows back into the product you subscribe to.

Rings, earrings and necklaces across twelve gemstone cuts, every one configurable in metal and stone, every image and turntable rendered from plain 3D models.
A configurator that turns a design into the cut paths behind it, previewed in real time so a customer changes the piece and not the paperwork.
Pieces that come apart: components swapped, combined and priced independently, assembled live in the viewer instead of being pre-rendered a thousand times.
